1. Privacy & Confidentiality

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC respects the privacy and security of all customer data.

During the course of diagnostics or repair services, technicians may require access to system files, user accounts, passwords, or stored data in order to properly diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC does not access, copy, view, distribute, or use personal files, financial information, passwords, or private data for any purpose other than what is necessary to perform the requested service.

Under no circumstances will Crane Computer Solutions, LLC intentionally:

  • Access bank account information

  • Access financial records

  • Copy personal photos or documents

  • Store customer passwords

  • Share customer data with third parties

All customer information encountered during service is treated as strictly confidential.

Any access to data will be limited only to what is reasonably necessary to complete the requested repair or diagnostic service.

2. Diagnostic & Repair Services

All devices are subject to diagnostic evaluation to determine the cause of issues before repairs are performed.

While every effort will be made to accurately diagnose and repair devices, some problems may require additional services, replacement parts, or extended repair time.

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC does not guarantee that all devices can be successfully repaired.

Devices that fail during diagnostic or repair due to pre-existing conditions are not the responsibility of the Company.

3. Data Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for backing up all data prior to service.

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or damage to data that may occur during diagnostics, repair, upgrades, virus removal, or operating system installation.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Documents

  • Photos

  • Videos

  • Programs

  • Software licenses

  • Operating systems

Customers acknowledge that some repairs may require data deletion, operating system reinstallation, or storage device replacement.

4. Hardware & Parts

Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, or customer-supplied depending on availability and customer preference.

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC is not responsible for manufacturer defects in third-party parts or hardware.

Warranty claims for hardware components must be handled through the manufacturer or original supplier unless otherwise stated.

5. Authorization to Service Device

By submitting a device for repair, the customer authorizes Crane Computer Solutions, LLC to:

  • Access the device and its software systems

  • Install or remove software

  • Replace hardware components

  • Perform system diagnostics

  • Attempt data recovery when requested

Customers must provide passwords or login credentials when necessary for repair services.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC reserves the right to retain possession of the device until payment has been received in full.

Service pricing may vary depending on:

  • Complexity of the repair

  • Required replacement parts

  • Additional services requested

7. Abandoned Equipment

Devices left unclaimed for 30 days after notification of service completion may be considered abandoned.

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC reserves the right to dispose of, recycle, or resell abandoned equipment to recover service costs.

8. Liability Limitation

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data

  • Loss of business

  • Loss of revenue

  • Loss of profits

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Pre-existing hardware failures

  • Damage caused by malware, viruses, or software corruption

Total liability for any service performed shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.

9. Service Warranty

Labor performed by Crane Computer Solutions, LLC is covered by a 30-day limited service warranty unless otherwise specified.

This warranty does not cover:

  • New viruses or malware infections

  • User-installed software or system changes

  • Physical damage after service

  • Liquid damage

  • Hardware failure unrelated to the original repair

  • Software corruption caused by third-party programs

10. Shipping & Mail-In Repairs

For devices shipped or mailed to Crane Computer Solutions, LLC:

Customers are responsible for proper packaging and shipping costs.

Crane Computer Solutions, LLC is not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping to or from our location.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to provide accurate information regarding device problems and disclose any known:

  • Physical damage

  • Liquid exposure

  • Prior repairs

  • System modifications

Failure to disclose known issues may affect repair outcomes.

12. Service Agreement

By requesting service from Crane Computer Solutions, LLC (“Company”), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to all diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, data recovery attempts, and technical support services provided.

Submitting a device for service constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting service, scheduling diagnostics, or submitting a device for repair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
